Raleigh, NC- The first TEDxNCSU was held Saturday, October 23, 2010 in the Talley Student Center Ballroom on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. They used SustainU for the event’s shirts.
TED, which stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design, is a set of conferences held around the world in an attempt to circulate “ideas worth spreading,” which is the organization’s motto. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share experiences of local innovations and advancements.
TEDxNCSU was presented by the College of Engineering and the Office of Sustainability and all of the shirts were SustainU and 100% recycled, 100% made in the U.S.A.
