Local clothing company tries on sustainability

In a recent Daily Athenaeum article Staff Writer Alex Belfiori talked to Chris Yura, owner and manager of SustainU, a newly founded business and WVUBI Resident Tenant that makes apparel from 100 percent recycled products like plastic bottles and industrial textile that would normally end up in landfills.

The article goes on to mention more about Chris’s company and how it would like to be involved in WVU projects.

“I want to work with the University on as many applications as we can because I think it would be great for West Virginia to be the first to invest in sustainable apparel,” Yura said.
