Asheville, NC- Tuesday, 10/26/10, Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council will host Chris Yura as a guest speaker to kick off their focus on entrepreneurs in the green business sector. The event will be from 5-7 at the Posana Cafe, located downtown Asheville on Pack Square.
BREC is an organization for entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina that focuses on education, networking, mentoring, communications and capital formation. It is an initiative of the entrepreneurial development program of AdvantageWest, the economic development partnership serving the 23 counties of Western North Carolina.
The event will be hosted by Posana Cafe, which was the first 2 Star Certified Green Restaurant® in North Carolina and is one of only two eateries in the state to earn that distinction.
The intention of the event is to provide time for networking among entrepreneurs in Western North Carolina and promote local business growth. Admission is open to the public, but pre-registration is required and still available. Admission is $20 and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
